Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor Intern who has a strong understanding of video storytelling, hands-on experience in video shooting, proficiency in editing tools, and working knowledge of Canva. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling video production from planning and shooting to editing and delivering the final output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Add transitions, music, sound effects, voice-overs, animations, and subtitles as needed.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to conceptualize and produce promotional videos, reels, testimonials, corporate videos, explainer videos, and more.
• Create static and animated designs using Canva for social media and other marketing purposes.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final output.
• Understand and apply color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics where required.
• Manage and organize media assets, maintaining a proper workflow.
• Optimize videos for different formats, resolutions, and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements.
• Shoot high-quality videos for social media, promotional campaigns, client projects, interviews, testimonials, and corporate content.
• Handle basic camera operations, framing, lighting, and audio setup during video shoots.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor Intern with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Canva for quick design tasks and content formatting.
• Ability to create both long-form and short-form video content.
• Strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Understanding of color grading, motion graphics, and video compression.
• Familiarity with social media formats, aspect ratios, and video algorithms.
• Basic understanding of script writing and storyboarding.
• Knowledge of video shooting techniques, camera handling, framing, lighting, and audio recording.
• Ability to shoot and edit both short-form and long-form video content.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in digital marketing or advertising agencies is a plus.
• Photography or sound editing knowledge is an advantage.
