Video Editor Intern

As a Video Editor Intern at Trueven, you will work closely with our content and marketing teams to transform raw footage, educational lessons, and creative ideas into engaging videos.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about video editing, digital storytelling, social media content, and experimenting with modern AI-powered video tools.

You will get hands-on experience creating real-world content for a growing EdTech brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
• Edit educational videos, lectures, and learning content for the Trueven app.
• Create engaging video advertisements for courses and digital campaigns.
• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, background music, and motion graphics.
• Ensure videos have strong pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand creative requirements.
• Repurpose long-form videos into short, engaging social media clips.
• Explore AI-powered video generation and editing tools to improve creative output.
• Follow brand guidelines and deliver videos within assigned deadlines.
• Organize raw footage, project files, and final video exports.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Understanding of video pacing, transitions, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Interest in creating content for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Willingness to learn new editing techniques and AI-powered creative tools.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to take feedback.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AI video tools such as Kling AI, Higgsfield, Google Veo, or similar platforms.
• Basic motion graphics and animation skills.
• Experience editing YouTube Shorts, Reels, educational videos, or advertisements.
• A portfolio of personal projects, college projects, or sample edits.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month
