Role Overview

We are looking for creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Video Editing Interns who are passionate about video content, storytelling, and digital media. This opportunity is ideal for freshers who want to build practical experience in professional video production and editing.

The selected candidates will undergo a 3-month internship, during which their technical skills, creativity, learning ability, quality of work, and overall performance will be evaluated. Candidates who successfully meet the required performance expectations may be offered a full-time position with Publicis Production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in editing and assembling video footage into engaging, high-quality content.
• Work on short-form videos, social media content, promotional videos, and brand communication assets.
• Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and, preferably, Adobe After Effects.
• Add transitions, titles, subtitles, graphics, music, and sound effects as required.
• Follow creative briefs, brand guidelines, and project specifications.
• Make revisions based on feedback from senior editors, designers, and production teams.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all video deliverables.
• Organize footage, project files, and media assets systematically.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Stay updated on video editing trends, techniques, and digital content formats.

Skills and Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of video editing experience may apply.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, frame rates, transitions, and audio basics.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual storytelling.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work in a collaborative environment.
• Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines.
• A portfolio, showreel, or sample editing projects will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification: Any graduate or candidate with relevant training in video editing, multimedia, animation, or digital media. Candidates with relevant practical skills may also apply.

Internship Structure and Full-Time Opportunity

• Duration: 3 months.
• Learning: Hands-on exposure to live projects, editing workflows, creative briefs, and professional production standards.
• Evaluation: Performance will be assessed on editing quality, creativity, speed, accuracy, responsiveness to feedback, teamwork, and adherence to deadlines.
• Full-time opportunity: Candidates who successfully complete the internship and meet the required performance standards may receive an offer for a full-time Video Editor position, subject to business requirements and the company's selection process.
