About the Role

Pythal General Trading LLC is looking for a creative Video Editor Intern with an interest in motion graphics and animation to join our creative team.

This is a remote internship where you will work on real brand projects, including social media content, product videos, campaign creatives and short-form promotional videos.

We are looking for someone who understands video editing and has a good visual sense. You should be comfortable working with footage, typography, transitions, music and motion to create engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos
• Create motion graphics, animated text and transitions
• Edit product and campaign videos
• Turn raw footage into polished, engaging content
• Work with typography, music, sound and visual effects
• Adapt videos for different social media platforms
• Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines
• Coordinate with the creative and social media team
• Contribute creative ideas for videos and campaigns

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate video editing skills
• Knowledge of motion graphics and/or animation
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar editing software
• Understanding of pacing, transitions, typography and visual storytelling
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to understand and execute creative briefs
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Interest in social media and brand content

Experience with AI-assisted video or creative tools is an added advantage.

Students, recent graduates and self-taught video editors are welcome to apply. Previous full-time professional experience is not required.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio or showreel is required for this position.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a short practical assignment relevant to the role. This will help us evaluate editing skills, creativity, motion graphics ability, attention to detail and understanding of the creative brief.

Stipend

₹6,000 – ₹10,000 per month

The final stipend will be determined based on the candidate's skills, portfolio and experience.

Strong performers may be considered for future opportunities with Pythal based on performance and business requirements.
