Video Editor Internship

About the role

As a Video Editor Intern, you will work closely with our production and editing team to turn raw footage into engaging, polished content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Editing short-form videos for real estate agents and interior designers
• Creating engaging TikTok/Reels content with strong pacing and storytelling
• Adding subtitles, text animations, transitions, sound effects and music
• Selecting the best footage from raw clips
• Following editing references, client briefs and brand guidelines
• Making revisions based on client feedback
• Organising and managing video files and project folders
• Ensuring completed videos meet Jellyfish Studios' quality standards
• Assisting with other video production and creative tasks when required
• Keeping up with current TikTok, Instagram and social media editing trends

About you

• Creative and has a good eye for visual content
• Familiar with short-form content and social media trends
• Able to understand pacing, storytelling and what makes a video engaging
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
• Willing to learn and receive feedback
• Responsible and able to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently after being given instructions
• Organised when handling multiple projects
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software is preferred
