Role Overview

We’re on the hunt for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to support our content production team. Whether it’s cutting short-form content for social media, polishing brand videos, or editing behind-the-scenes footage, you’ll play a key role in bringing stories to life through video.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited about growing their skills in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Produce long-form content, syncing audio, adding B‑roll, subtitles, lower-thirds, and background music.
• Edit short-form videos (15–60 sec) with jump cuts, transitions, text overlays, and music/sound effects for TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
• Edit and assemble video footage into engaging and polished content for digital and social media platforms.
• Add motion graphics, music, sound effects, and subtitles as needed.
• Collaborate with the creative and social teams to understand content goals and deliver edits that align with brand style.
• Organize and manage media files and project assets efficiently.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Revise edits based on team feedback and client notes.
• Stay current on editing trends, TikTok/Instagram styles, and visual storytelling techniques.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut (or equivalent editing software like Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve).
• Basic knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or other motion/graphic tools is a plus.
• A portfolio or samples of editing work (personal projects, school assignments, freelance gigs all welcome!).
• Understanding of social-first video formats (e.g. Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
