We are looking for an Ai Video Editor who understands that great editing is not just cutting clips it is controlling emotion, pace and impact.

The Role

As a Video Editor at A47, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content across our news social and marketing channels. You will work with AI-generated footage, live reporting assets and brand content shaping them into stories that audiences actually want to watch. If you've edited for entertainment channels or commercial ads, in Pakistan or internationally, this role was made for you.

This role demands both technical precision and creative instinct.

What You Will Be Doing

• Edit and produce short-form content for social platforms.
• Cut and deliver long-form video content news features, brand documentaries and campaign videos
• Synchronize visuals with audio, music and on-screen pacing to create a cohesive viewing experience
• Build emotionally driven edits through deliberate use of timing, cuts and transitions
• Select and align music tracks and sound elements to match the tone and message of each piece
• Layer sound design ambient audio, effects, and transitions to elevate production quality
• Carry out color grading and correction to ensure visual consistency across all deliveries
• Develop motion graphics and animated elements where required, using After Effects
• Optimize all output for platform-specific formats, resolutions and aspect ratios
• Work closely with other teams to meet production timelines
• Manage project files, assets and timelines in an organized and scalable workflow
• Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively without losing quality
• Keep up with evolving video trends, editing style and platform algorithm behavior

What We Are Looking For

Requirements

• 2-3 years of practical video editing experience across both short and long-form formats
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Experience with entertainment channels or commercial ads, in Pakistan or internationally
• Fast turnaround without cutting corners on quality
• Solid grasp of audio-visual timing, pacing, and the mechanics of rhythm-based editing
• Demonstrated ability to produce cinematic, story-led video work
• Experience creating content for Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and similar platforms
• Competence in sound selection, audio layering, and mixing
• Working knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and on-screen transitions
• Ability to adapt content across multiple platform formats and screen ratios
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong visual and aesthetic sensibility
• Well-organized approach to file management and project structure
• Professional English communication skills

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading
• Prior exposure to AI-generated or synthetic media content
• Background in news, media, or broadcast production environments
• Familiarity with Web3 or blockchain-based content distribution
