Video Editor | Part Time

LYF Socials is looking for a creative and driven Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into compelling short-form content. We work with brands across hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, and more, creating social content that captures attention and tells a story.

We’re looking for someone with a strong creative eye, a good understanding of social media trends, and the work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced NYC agency environment. You should know that great editing goes beyond transitions and effects — it’s about pacing, emotion, and knowing how to keep people watching.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos and Instagram Reels for a variety of brands.
• Turn raw footage into compelling stories that capture a brand’s personality and connect with its audience.
• Bring creative ideas to the table, with a strong sense of pacing, hooks, music, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Stay current with social media trends and understand how to adapt them to different brands.
• Collaborate with our creative and social media teams to bring content ideas to life.
• Manage deadlines, handle feedback well, and deliver polished work consistently.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong portfolio showcasing short-form video editing and storytelling.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
• A sharp creative eye and a strong sense of what makes content engaging.
• An understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behavior.
• Someone proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and the ability to meet deadlines without constant follow-ups.
• Someone who takes initiative, thinks creatively, and brings ideas rather than simply waiting for instructions.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
