Video Editor (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We're a UK-based marketing agency looking for a talented, reliable video editor to produce daily short-form and long-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You'll work across several accounts, our agency brand, a founder personal brand, and other businesses we promote.

Scripts and source footage are provided. Your job is to turn them into scroll-stopping videos that perform. AI-generated video is welcome (concept approved first).

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person, starting with a paid trial.

What you'll do

• Edit and deliver 1 finished video per working day
• Produce engaging short-form content optimised for each platform (TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts) plus occasional longer YouTube edits
• Add captions, hooks, pacing, music, and effects that maximise watch time and reach
• Follow provided scripts and brand direction across multiple accounts
• Pitch AI-video concepts for approval before producing them
• Turn work around quickly and take feedback well

What we're looking for

• Proven video editing experience, ideally with social/short-form content (portfolio required)
• Strong command of tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
• A sharp sense of hooks, pacing, and what makes content go viral
• Fast, reliable, and communicative, able to hit a daily deadline
• Good written English for briefs and feedback
• Own computer and stable internet
• Bonus: motion graphics, thumbnail design, or experience with AI video tools (Runway, Sora, HeyGen, etc.)

Pay & bonuses

• Base: Rp 3,000,000 per month
• Performance bonus (per video, based on views on its best-performing platform, measured 30 days after posting):

1,000,000+; Rp- 750,000
5,000,000+; Rp- 2,000,000

One bonus per video. Bonuses reward genuine, organic views only.

Hiring process

• Shortlisted candidates complete a paid one-week trial (7 videos)
• Successful trial leads to an ongoing monthly contracting arrangement.
