Video Production Intern

This internship is perfect for anyone interested in learning the behind-the-scenes world of live
sports broadcasts and in-game entertainment. You will work alongside industry professionals
across Ohio and gain hands-on experience. You’ll learn what it takes to be part of the production
and game presentation crews that bring sports broadcasts and in-venue experiences to life.

Duration/Dates of Internship:
We’re looking for interns who are excited to be part of the production team for the full 2027
season. Full-season availability is required before the season begins, and interns will be
expected to commit to working at least 50 Columbus Clippers home games or events
throughout the regular season.

The Clippers’ home opener is March 26th, and the regular season runs through September
12th. This commitment gives you the opportunity to gain consistent, hands-on experience, build
relationships with industry professionals, and become an important part of our game-day
production team.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with producers, directors, and the CTV crew as they prepare for

productions.

• Learn Camera, Replay, Graphics, Audio, Technical Directing, Directing, and more from

industry professionals.

• Assist with Game Presentation roles, including working as an In-house Technical

Director, Stadium DJ, and Replay Operator.

• Learn industry terminology, techniques, and skills that are imperative to growth in the

broadcast and live event production industries.

• Operate Cameras, replay machines, audio mixers, video shaders, and other broadcast

production software.

What You’ll Need:

• Must be available to work nights and weekends. A minimum of 50 home games/events

(out of approximately 75) is required to be worked in order to receive credit for the
internship.

• A High school diploma or GED is required.
• Participants must have good computer skills, general sports knowledge, excellent verbal

communication abilities, and (above all else!) a fun and hardworking attitude.

• Prior experience is not needed, but is always a plus
