You like to be behind the lens, and you’ve got an eye for filming expressive images — sounds like you’re a budding videographer. The Minnesota Daily is looking for student videographers who enjoy fast-paced environments and who are ready to tell visual stories about the University of Minnesota community.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and collaborate with the producer to edit videos
• Work with reporters to create media that best emphasizes their story
• Pitch their own video story ideas
• Effectively communicate with video producer and sources

Qualifications

• Must be a University of Minnesota Student
• Must demonstrate knowledge of video editing
• Respect for deadlines and should demonstrate willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic & self-motivated
