Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Videographer and Drone Operator to produce high-quality video content and capture professional aerial footage for marketing, promotional, documentary, event, and corporate projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cameras and drones, planning shoots, editing video content, and delivering visually compelling footage that meets the company's creative and business objectives.

Job Description

• Plan, film, and produce high-quality video content for corporate events, promotional campaigns, social media, advertisements, and other projects.
• Operate professional cameras, drones, stabilizers, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.
• Capture aerial photographs and videos of properties, construction sites, events, facilities, landscapes, and other locations as required.
• Conduct pre-production planning, including location assessment, shot lists, storyboarding, and equipment preparation.
• Operate drones safely and professionally to capture smooth, clear, and engaging aerial footage.
• Edit and enhance video footage using professional editing software.
• Apply colour correction, sound enhancement, transitions, titles, graphics, and other effects where necessary.
• Collaborate with the marketing, media, and creative teams to develop concepts and produce content that aligns with brand objectives.
• Ensure all footage meets the required standards for image quality, composition, lighting, and sound.
• Conduct equipment checks and maintain cameras, drones, batteries, lenses, memory cards, and other production accessories.
• Organize, back up, and maintain video files and project archives.
• Coordinate filming schedules and work efficiently within production deadlines.
• Travel to different locations for filming assignments when required.
• Follow aviation regulations, obtain necessary permissions, and comply with applicable drone operating requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments before drone flights and avoid flying in restricted or unsafe areas.
• Maintain professional conduct when filming clients, employees, properties, and members of the public.
• Keep up with emerging videography techniques, drone technology, and video production trends.

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor's degree, HND, OND, or relevant professional training in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Photography, or a related field.
• Proven years of professional experience in videography, video production, and drone operation.
• Proven ability to operate professional cameras and drones and produce high-quality footage.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of photography, lighting, framing, composition, and sound recording.
• Experience with aerial filming, drone flight planning, and aerial footage stabilization.
• Understanding of video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and export settings for different platforms.
• Familiarity with social media content formats and corporate video production.
• Knowledge of drone safety procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
• Strong creativity, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous videography and drone projects is required.
• Relevant drone pilot certification or authorization, where applicable, is an added advantage.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
