Videographer and Editor

About the role

This is a Video Production role focused on creating engaging video content for a swimming academy's social media and marketing purposes. You will be responsible for the full video production lifecycle, from planning and shooting through to editing and publishing across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and produce video content for social media and marketing purposes
• Record classes, swimming activities, events, promotions, and customer testimonials
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other video equipment
• Ensure good framing, lighting, audio, and overall video quality
• Edit raw footage into engaging and professional videos
• Add music, sound effects, subtitles, transitions, graphics, and animations
• Create short-form content such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Produce longer videos when required, such as promotional videos and event highlights
• Colour-correct and enhance video and audio quality
• Develop creative video ideas based on current social media trends

About you

• Ability to create content that promotes the swimming academy, classes, promotions, and activities
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
• Ability to prepare videos in suitable formats and sizes for different social media platforms
• Knowledge of current TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other video trends
• Ability to attend shoots at the swimming academy and other locations when required
• Ability to capture spontaneous and behind-the-scenes footage
• Ability to coordinate with coaches and staff during filming to minimise disruption to classes
• Ability to maintain and take proper care of cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment
• Ability to organise and back up video footage and project files
• Ability to complete video projects according to deadlines
