Job Summary
The Volo Network is seeking talented, creative, and highly motivated Full Time and Part Time Videographers to join our growing production team.
This is an opportunity to work directly on original reality television series, digital content, promotional campaigns, interviews, behind the scenes productions, live events, and other Volo Network programming.
We are looking for visual storytellers who understand that great videography is more than simply operating a camera. You should know how to capture the moments, reactions, conversations, environments, and details that turn raw footage into compelling television.
Our ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, understands professional production workflows, can operate confidently in fast paced filming environments, and knows how to capture clean, cinematic footage while staying ready for unexpected moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Film original programming and digital content for The Volo Network, including reality television, interviews, promotional content, events, behind the scenes footage, and special productions
- Set up and professionally operate cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, wireless audio systems, stabilizers, tripods, and other production equipment
- Capture high quality footage with strong composition, proper exposure, focus, framing, and camera movement
- Capture authentic, unscripted moments and reactions during reality television productions without interfering with the natural flow of a scene
- Work closely with directors, producers, talent, and other production team members to execute the creative vision of each project
- Capture establishing shots, B roll, inserts, reactions, environmental footage, and other supporting visuals necessary to build complete scenes
- Monitor audio during production to ensure dialogue and environmental sound are recorded clearly
- Maintain consistency across multi camera productions
- Properly organize, label, transfer, back up, and manage footage following Volo Network production procedures
- Assist with lighting and production setup when necessary
- Review footage to ensure technical and creative standards are met before leaving a production location
- Edit content when assigned using professional post production software
- Perform color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, graphics, titles, transitions, and other post production work as needed
- Meet production schedules and content delivery deadlines
- Maintain and properly handle company production equipment
- Travel to filming locations when required
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates should have experience with professional or prosumer video production and demonstrate a strong understanding of:
- Professional videography and cinematography
- DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, or broadcast style camera systems
- Camera settings including ISO, shutter speed, aperture, frame rates, white balance, and picture profiles
- Lighting for interviews, reality television, events, and cinematic scenes
- Professional audio recording and wireless microphone systems
- Composition, framing, camera movement, and visual storytelling
- Multi camera production environments
- Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing software
- Color correction and color grading
- Audio editing, sound design, and mixing
- Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, or other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus
- Media organization, file management, and footage backup procedures
What We're Looking For
We want videographers who are creative, dependable, observant, technically skilled, and hungry to create great television.
You must be comfortable working in environments where situations can develop quickly. Reality television does not always provide a second take, so our videographers must anticipate moments, recognize when a story is developing, and know where to position themselves to capture it.
You should be able to take direction while also having the creative instincts to recognize a great shot without being told.
Professionalism is essential. Our production team works directly with cast members, creators, public figures, businesses, venues, and other industry professionals. Candidates must be punctual, respectful, collaborative, and able to represent The Volo Network professionally on set.
Why Join The Volo Network?
This position provides hands on experience creating content designed for a real streaming audience while working alongside producers, directors, editors, creators, and other entertainment professionals.
We're not simply looking for someone to hold a camera.
We're looking for visual storytellers who want to help us create moments audiences remember.
If you're passionate about television, filmmaking, reality production, and digital entertainment and you're ready to bring both technical skill and creative energy to every production, we want to hear from you.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
