About the role

Peridou Inc. is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in bringing our creative vision to life through compelling visual storytelling. As a key member of our Editing & Publishing division within the Advertising, Arts & Media industry, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that engages audiences and drives our brand's narrative forward. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a team of creative professionals dedicated to excellence in visual media production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate professional video cameras and equipment to capture high-quality footage for various projects, including commercials, promotional videos, documentaries, and digital content
• Plan and execute video shoots, including location scouting, shot composition, and lighting setup to ensure optimal visual quality
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and translate creative concepts into visual content
• Edit and post-process video footage using industry-standard software, incorporating graphics, transitions, colour grading, and audio to produce polished final products
• Manage and organise video assets, ensuring proper file management, backup procedures, and archival of all project materials
• Stay updated with the latest video production techniques, trends, and technological advancements in the industry
• Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and software to maintain production schedules and quality standards
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance video content and storytelling approach

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a videographer or in a similar video production role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your technical skills and creative vision and storyteller
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent professional editing platforms
• Strong understanding of cinematography principles, including framing, composition, lighting, and colour theory
• Technical expertise in operating professional video cameras, audio equipment, and other production gear
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in visual quality across multiple projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a creative team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, or animation is preferred but not essential
• Experience with colour grading, audio synchronisation, and sound design is advantageous
• Familiarity with emerging video formats and platforms, including social media optimisation and 360-degree video production, would be beneficial
