Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- We are looking for a creative, technically proficient, and commercially minded Short-Form Videographer to produce high-quality short-form video content for our businesses and brands.
- You will be responsible for the practical execution of video production, from setting up recording sessions and directing talent to filming, editing, and delivering polished videos ready for publication.
- Our content will include professional thought leadership, business commentary, educational videos, product explainers, interviews, and street interviews.
- We are looking for someone who understands how to capture attention, communicate ideas visually, and produce content that feels natural, authoritative, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production:
- Film short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to achieve professional recording quality.
- Direct recording sessions, helping presenters deliver their messages naturally and confidently.
- Organise and execute batch-recording sessions to maximise production efficiency.
- Conduct on-location filming, including interviews and street interviews.
- Ensure that all footage is properly captured, organised, and backed up.
Video Editing and Post-Production:
- Edit recorded footage into polished, engaging short-form videos, typically between 30 and 90 seconds.
- Add subtitles, captions, branding, graphics and other visual elements where appropriate.
- Ensure high standards of sound quality, colour correction, framing and visual consistency.
- Produce videos in appropriate aspect ratios and formats for different social media platforms.
- Create alternative cuts and versions of videos where required.
- Maintain an organised library of recorded footage and completed videos.
Video Production Management:
- Work with the content team to translate scripts, concepts and creative briefs into finished videos.
- Plan recording sessions, prepare equipment and identify suitable locations.
- Recommend appropriate visual treatments, framing, backgrounds and recording formats for different types of content.
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of the production process.
- Coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of completed videos.
- Maintain consistent production standards across all brands.
Creative Input:
- Contribute ideas for presenting business, legal, technology, and consumer-facing subjects in compelling visual formats.
- Recommend creative approaches that improve audience retention without compromising the credibility of the content.
- Identify suitable opportunities for B-roll footage, visual demonstrations, interviews and other supporting material.
- Stay informed about developments in short-form video production, editing techniques, and platform-specific content formats.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in videography and short-form video production.
- A portfolio of completed videos, preferably including talking-head videos, interviews, educational content, and business or professional content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Practical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio recording and colour correction.
- Ability to produce clean, professional videos suitable for business and professional audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for occasional on-location shoots.
- Experience producing content for professional services firms, founders, executives, technology companies or consumer brands will be an advantage.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.

- Your application should identify your specific contribution to each video, including filming, directing, editing, and post-production.
- Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a practical video production exercise.
What We Value:
- We value creativity, initiative, reliability, and an obsession with quality.

- You should be comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment where ideas are developed quickly and execution matters.
