Company Description Studio 7 Film Productions is a full-service production house founded in 2017 in Ranchi by photographer and filmmaker Ankush Kasera. The company specializes in documentary films, ad films, commercial photography, content creation, graphic design, and wedding, pre-wedding, and event photography and videography. Studio 7 has partnered with leading global brands and organizations, including National Geographic, Discovery, Incredible India, HBO, and government tourism bodies, delivering stock footage, line production, and commercial video projects. In addition to media production, the studio offers interior decoration services, such as interior art, curated frames, and art curation for premium spaces. A young, skilled team of editors, designers, photographers, and cinematographers focuses on creating authentic, visually rich travel films and other impactful visual stories.

Role Description This full-time Videographer role is an on-site position based in Ranchi. The Videographer will plan and execute video shoots for documentaries, ad films, events, weddings, and brand projects, including pre-production preparation and coordination with clients and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include operating cameras, setting up lighting and audio, framing shots, and capturing high-quality video footage in studio and on-location environments. The role also involves collaborating with editors and designers to ensure footage aligns with creative concepts, brand guidelines, and client expectations. The Videographer will maintain equipment, manage media files, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the visual storytelling of Studio 7’s projects.

Qualifications

• Strong video production skills, including planning shoots, managing workflows, and understanding basic post-production processes.
• Proficiency in camera operation and handling different camera systems, with the ability to frame and compose professional shots.
• Knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor environments, and experience setting up and adjusting lighting equipment.
• Hands-on experience shooting video in diverse settings, such as events, documentaries, and commercial projects.
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and basic color correction is an advantage.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail, composition, and continuity.
• Ability to work on-site, travel for shoots as needed, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary creative team.
• Prior experience in film production, media, or a related field; a relevant diploma or degree in filmmaking, media studies, or visual arts is preferred.
