Videographer - Italy

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled videographer or director of photography to capture the story of a renowned Italian wine producer in Trentino. The project involves a 3–5 day on-site shoot in September 2026, focusing on documentary-style storytelling that highlights multigenerational growers, vineyard landscapes, and the winemaking process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong editorial or documentary sensibility, with a keen eye for cinematic visuals and the ability to work collaboratively with a small production team. Experience in food, wine, travel, agriculture, or hospitality content is highly valued, as is comfort with natural light shooting and capturing both interviews and atmospheric B-roll. The final deliverables will be used by a leading food magazine to showcase the unique heritage and landscape of the region.

Deliverables

• Capture and deliver a 5–7 minute hero documentary film highlighting the wine producer’s story, including interviews, vineyard and landscape footage, and detailed B-roll.
• Provide social media cutdowns optimized for digital platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure narrative and visual cohesion.
• Optionally, provide still photography and post-production editing if skilled.
• Ensure all footage is shot primarily in natural light and meets editorial standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in documentary or editorial video production, ideally within food, wine, travel, agriculture, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling and naturalistic shooting style.
• Proficiency with professional video equipment and natural light techniques.
• Ability to work on-site in Trentino, Italy, in September 2026; Milan or Northern Italy-based candidates preferred, but those willing to travel are welcome.
• Comfortable working with a small team and independently managing shoot logistics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Availability to share relevant work samples, September schedule, equipment list, and production experience.
• Still photography and post-production skills are a plus.
