What they need

We're a full-service video production company hiring a full-time videographer/production lead/editor — someone who owns the entire content pipeline from shoot to delivery. You'll film at a high level, edit, manage our editing team, run quality control on everything that ships, and grow into running the production side of the business.

Travel and film on-location content for clients based in South Florida and nationwide. The rest of the month is editing, team management, QC review, and building the systems that let us scale. This is a full-time, salaried role with real ownership — we're looking for someone who wants to be responsible for content quality and completion, not just execute tasks.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT: This is a fully in-person role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. If you're in the Miami area and the drive is too far, please don't apply. We need someone local who can be in the office consistently.

What You'll DoOwn the Entire Pipeline

You're responsible for content from the moment you pack the camera to the moment it ships to the client. No handoffs, no silos.

Production & Filming

  • Travel to client locations nationwide to film interviews, b-roll, and branded content
  • Operate camera fully manual — ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, focus
  • Build clean, efficient lighting setups in unpredictable indoor and outdoor environments
  • Capture intentional, varied b-roll that makes the edit better, not just longer
  • Keep shoots organized, on schedule, and professional from load-in to wrap
  • Transfer, label, and back up footage immediately — meticulous file management is your responsibility

Post-Production & Quality Control

  • Edit long-form and short-form deliverables to brand standard
  • Assign work to remote editors and set clear expectations for the E8 look and quality standards
  • Review every single deliverable before it leaves your desk — catch issues, send back work that doesn't meet standard, and own the final quality
  • Refine editing SOPs, style guides, and templates continuously so quality scales as volume grows
  • Be the last set of eyes on everything — your name is on the quality

Business & Leadership

  • Sit in on client calls and creative kickoffs; translate client goals into a production and editing plan
  • Manage the full lifecycle from initial scope to final delivery — track timelines, coordinate with the team, communicate status
  • Help identify and land new business — referrals, on-site relationships, portfolio-driven outreach
  • Bring ideas for new formats, offerings, and workflows that make the company better
  • Grow into a leadership role over the production department as we scale

What You Bring

  • Strong manual camera operation — no auto modes, no guessing
  • Real editing chops (Premiere, Resolve, or Final Cut) with a portfolio to prove it
  • Experience directing or managing other editors, or clear readiness to lead a team
  • A genuine eye for quality and the backbone to enforce standards — you'll send work back when it doesn't meet the bar, and you won't compromise
  • A QC mindset — you catch mistakes, inconsistencies, and missed details that others miss
  • Professional, personable, and trustworthy in a client's space
  • Organized and meticulous — you manage files, track deadlines, coordinate people, and keep nothing from slipping through cracks
  • Comfortable traveling roughly 4–5 days per month for nationwide shoots
  • A reel demonstrating on-location work and finished edits that showcase your complete skills
  • Must be based in or able to commute reliably to Fort Lauderdale, FL
  • Ownership mentality — you take responsibility for the entire output, not just your piece of it

Nice to Have

  • Audio experience beyond a lav and a shotgun
  • Motion graphics or basic After Effects
  • Any sales, account management, or client-facing background

What We Offer

  • Full-time salaried position — based on experience
  • All travel, accommodations, and meals fully covered during production trips
  • Flexible schedule outside of shoot days
  • Nationwide shoots with a wide variety of clients and locations
  • Direct access to leadership — your ideas get implemented, not filed
  • A real path to running the production side of a growing company, with compensation that grows with the role
