We create content for restaurants, healthcare practices, nonprofits, professional services, and local businesses across New York and New Jersey. Our social and video teams work side by side, so what you shoot goes straight into real campaigns.

The role
You’ll shoot and edit video for our clients, from fast-turnaround social content to longer brand films, interviews, and event coverage. One day you’re filming Reels at a restaurant, and the next you’re running a two-camera interview shoot or cutting a three-minute brand video. You’ll work closely with our social media managers and our video team on productions of every size.

What you’ll do

• Shoot short-form social content on location at client businesses across NY and NJ
• Edit vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Shoot and edit long-form projects: brand videos, testimonials, interviews, event recaps, and commercials
• Run multi-camera setups, lighting, and audio for interviews and sit-downs
• Add captions, motion text, music, and sound design that fit each brand
• Color correct and mix audio for finished long-form deliverables
• Cut one long-form shoot into a set of short social clips
• Turn around social edits quickly, often within 24 to 48 hours of a shoot
• Capture photos and B-roll for social content libraries
• Collaborate with social managers on shot lists and content ideas
• Keep footage organized and archived in our shared drive

What you bring

• 2+ years shooting and editing video, with a portfolio that includes both short-form social and long-form work
• Strong editing skills in DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
• Comfortable shooting on mirrorless cameras and phones
• Experience running interviews with lav and boom audio and three-point lighting
• A feel for trends, hooks, and pacing that keeps viewers watching
• Confident and personable on set with clients and their staff
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for shoots

Nice to have

• Experience with cinema cameras (Blackmagic, Lumix, or similar)
• Color grading in DaVinci Resolve
• Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar)
• Drone experience (FAA Part 107 certification)
• Experience filming restaurants, events, or healthcare
• Photography and photo editing skills

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
