About the Role

TechAdlien is looking for a creative Videographer & Video Editor who can independently handle the complete video production process — shooting, editing and delivering final content.

The candidate should be comfortable shooting content using an iPhone, DSLR, mirrorless or professional camera and should have strong editing skills to turn raw footage into polished, engaging content.

We are looking for someone who understands visual storytelling, social media content, lighting, framing, editing and brand communication — not someone who only operates a camera or only edits videos.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Shooting

• Shoot Instagram Reels, advertisements, corporate videos, interviews, testimonials, product videos and promotional content.
• Shoot using iPhone, DSLR, mirrorless or professional cameras.
• Handle basic lighting and audio setup.
• Plan camera angles, framing, movements and shots.
• Ensure good-quality footage with proper exposure, focus, composition and audio.
• Work on-location for client shoots whenever required.
• Independently handle smaller shoots from setup to completion.

2. Video Editing

• Edit the videos shot by you from start to finish.
• Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements and corporate content.
• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects and motion graphics.
• Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
• Clean and synchronise audio.
• Create strong hooks and engaging openings for short-form content.
• Resize and adapt content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and advertising platforms.
• Deliver final videos according to the required brand style and specifications.

3. Creative Content

• Understand the objective behind every video before shooting.
• Suggest creative concepts, shots, angles and editing styles.
• Identify trends that can be adapted for client content.
• Contribute ideas for Reels and other short-form content.
• Maintain consistency in the visual identity of different brands.

Required Skills

• Strong videography and video-editing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition and framing.
• Good knowledge of audio recording and editing.
• Understanding of colour correction and grading.
• Ability to create engaging short-form content.
• Strong sense of timing, music selection and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good attention to detail.

Equipment

Professional camera experience is preferred but NOT mandatory.

Candidates can shoot using:

• iPhone / Smartphone
• DSLR
• Mirrorless Camera
• Professional Video/Cinema Camera

What matters most is the quality of the final output.

A candidate who can produce excellent content using an iPhone with proper lighting, framing and editing is completely acceptable.

Candidates must submit a portfolio or previous work.

The portfolio should demonstrate both:

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can receive a requirement such as:

“We need a Reel for this client.”

…and independently handle:

Concept → Shoot → Lighting → Audio → Footage → Edit → Colour Grade → Captions → Music → Final Reel

without depending on a separate videographer or editor for every project.

Important

This is NOT a camera-only role and NOT an editing-only role.

The candidate must be capable of handling both videography and video editing and should be comfortable working with whatever equipment is available — including an iPhone.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
