Lab Supervisor – This position is tasked to assist efforts to produce, maintain, and deliver on-time quality calibrated test equipment for our customers in an ISO 17025 certified lab.

Pay Grade: Starting at $85,000.00 and up

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs, maintains, and delegates the workflow of the calibration or repair lab activities
• Ability to hold team accountable
• Works with the Management Team with regards to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System
• Sets up standards and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate test equipment and other instruments
• Interacts with external and internal customers to resolve issues related to products
• Assists technicians in testing, calibration, repair and evaluation of test equipment
• Performs daily quality approval of technicians work orders
• Manages and maintains lab inventory related issues
• Develops formulas and solves problems in measurement and calibration
• Trains, mentors and guides technicians
• Insures laboratory capabilities remain current, compliant, and audit ready with approved methods of scope for ISO/IEC 17025

Required Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and A2LA 17025 requirements
• Strong knowledge in electronic test and measurement equipment repair and calibration
• Experience with software systems such as MET/TEAM, MUDCATS and other software

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in electronic or engineering discipline preferred
