Villa Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Villa Maintenance Technician to handle daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across villa facilities. The successful candidate will help ensure that all villa facilities and equipment are functioning properly, maintained to a high standard, and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on air conditioning units
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues, including MCBs, lighting, switches, and other electrical components, while following safety procedures
• Repair water leaks, clogged drains, toilets, faucets, and low water pressure issues
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on water heaters and water pumps
• Maintain pool pumps, filters, water circulation systems, and water quality to ensure proper pool operation
• Repair minor wall damage and cracks, perform plastering and repainting, and handle other basic building maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of villas, facilities, and equipment to identify and resolve potential problems before they affect guests
• Identify technical issues, determine appropriate solutions, report completed work, and communicate spare parts or material requirements
• Ensure all maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and in good condition
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and help ensure all villa facilities are safe, functional, and ready for guest occupancy

About you

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Villa Technician, Hotel Maintenance Staff, or in a similar technical position
• Practical skills in AC maintenance, basic electrical work, plumbing, water heaters, water pumps, and swimming pool maintenance
• Basic building repair skills, including plastering, wall repairs, and painting
• Ability to identify technical problems, troubleshoot independently, and perform repairs efficiently
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper use of maintenance tools
• Reliable, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear maintenance updates and reports
• Willingness to respond to urgent maintenance issues when required
