Village Operations Supervisor

Leichhardt Accommodation Village is seeking a Village Operations Supervisor to join our team in Moranbah.

Reporting to the Village Manager, this is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the day-to-day operation of the Village across Administration and Reception, Housekeeping, Kitchen/Catering, Maintenance coordination and general Village operations.

We are looking for someone with previous supervisory or team leadership experience who is practical, reliable and willing to work across different areas of the operation.

Please note: This is not a FIFO position. Leichhardt Accommodation Village does not provide or pay for flights or travel to and from Moranbah. Applicants must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The Roster

Our standard Monday-to-Friday roster is:

• Monday: 11:30am – 8:00pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am – 7:30pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am – 7:30pm
• Thursday: 6:30am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Monday to Thursday include a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

This means you normally finish at 12pm Friday and do not return until 11:30am Monday.

While generally Monday to Friday, some weekend, evening or alternative shift work may occasionally be required due to staff absences, management leave, occupancy or operational requirements.

About the Role

Within delegated areas of responsibility, you will help coordinate employees, allocate work, communicate priorities and support the smooth operation of the Village.

This is not an office-only role. You will also work alongside the team and provide hands-on support wherever required.

Your duties may include:

• Reception and accommodation administration, including RMS;
• arrivals, departures and room allocations;
• coordinating Housekeeping and room readiness;
• assisting with Housekeeping duties when required;
• Kitchen and catering support when required;
• coordinating maintenance requests and contractors;
• Village and room inspections;
• employee coordination and work allocation;
• guest and client service;
• WHS, food safety and operational compliance;
• operational reporting and record keeping; and
• providing relief operational coverage when required.

About You

You will have:

• previous supervisory, team leadership or operational coordination experience;
• experience within hospitality, accommodation, facilities or a similar operational environment;
• strong organisational and communication skills;
• confidence coordinating people and daily priorities;
• a practical, hands-on approach;
• sound judgement and problem-solving ability;
• willingness to work across multiple departments;
• good computer skills; and
• a current Australian driver's licence.

Experience in accommodation villages, RMS, Reception, Housekeeping, catering, maintenance coordination or mining accommodation would be highly regarded.

You do not need experience in every department.

Eligibility

Applicants must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia. This position is not FIFO, and travel to and from Moranbah is the employee’s responsibility. Visa sponsorship is not available.
