Vineyard Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vineyard Worker to join our team in maintaining and cultivating our vineyard. This role involves hands-on work in grapevine care and general farm maintenance to ensure high-quality grape production. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and an interest in horticulture and farm operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in vineyard management while contributing to the success of our winery operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform vineyard maintenance tasks including pruning, trellising, and canopy management
• Assist with planting, transplanting, and harvesting grapes as needed
• Operate basic tools safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools for various tasks such as trimming, tying, and supporting vines
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to promote safety and efficiency
• Support general farm maintenance including infrastructure upkeep
• Follow safety protocols at all times during heavy lifting or operation of heavy equipment

Skills

• Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
• Strong attention to safety procedure
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a positive attitude

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
