What they need

Be Part of Something Extraordinary

Vintage is the heartbeat of the wine industry, and this is your chance to join Treasury Wine Estate's world-class production environment, where some of the most recognised and admired wines are made, working alongside experienced winemakers and industry professionals.

Vintage is a fast-paced, rewarding and unforgettable experience that provides exposure to modern winemaking practices, advanced technology, and large-scale winery operations.

Beyond the work itself, you'll join a team that prioritises safety, collaboration, learning and development. You'll receive training, coaching and hands-on experience to help you succeed and grow.

As a Vintage Cellar Hand, you'll play a vital role in bringing the vintage to life. Working across multiple areas of the winery, you'll gain valuable experience in a range of cellar operations and production processes.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Transferring juice and wine, and assisting with crushing and pressing
  • Helping with filtration, flotation and fermentation-related activities
  • Collecting samples, completing basic testing, and managing additions
  • Operating automated tank farm systems and barrel line equipment
  • Support general cellar operations throughout Vintage
  • Accurately complete operational records
  • Follow quality and food safety requirements and support compliance

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will have:

  • A strong commitment to safety and working as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Logical thinking and sound problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (a pre-employment medical assessment will form part of the recruitment process)

What’s on Offer

  • Hands-on experience in a world-class winery environment
  • On-the-job training, coaching and support from experienced teams
  • A great team culture focused on safety and collaboration
  • Potential consideration for future seasonal opportunities

Pre-employment Requirements
You’ll need to successfully:

  • Pass a musculoskeletal assessment - assess your strength, mobility, and injury risk
  • Complete drug and alcohol testing
  • Provide two (2) contactable work-related referees
