Vinyl Floor Sheet Applicator

Eco Formax Technical Services LLC is a licensed Dubai contractor and a specialist in resilient and medical grade flooring, with sheet vinyl delivered on healthcare, commercial and residential projects. We are hiring an experienced Vinyl Floor Sheet Applicator in Dubai.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Laying homogeneous and heterogeneous sheet vinyl, LVT and vinyl plank.

Medical grade sheet vinyl including hospital and clinic applications.

Subfloor preparation: grinding, patching, self-levelling and moisture testing.

Setting out, cutting, scribing and fitting to walls, doorways and columns.

Heat welding seams with welding rod and hot air gun, then skiving flush.

Forming coved skirting, capping and corner details in wet and clinical areas.

Correct adhesive selection and spread rate for the substrate and traffic load.

Anti-slip grades in wet areas and installation of transition profiles and trims.

Rolling, finishing and protecting the floor until handover.

Removing offcuts and packaging and leaving the area clean.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience laying sheet vinyl flooring in the GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait or Bahrain).

Confident with heat welding and coving, not only glue-down plank.

Able to prepare and level a subfloor to the standard the finish requires.

Accurate cutting and scribing with a clean seam and edge finish.

Basic English, Hindi or Urdu for site communication.

Physically fit for site work including kneeling and lifting rolls.

Valid UAE visa, or able to be sponsored by the company.

WHAT WE OFFER

Monthly salary of AED 1,700 to 2,500 depending on skill and experience.
