Vinyl Wrap Installer

Job Overview

DB Detail LLC is looking for an experienced Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our growing automotive appearance company on a part-time basis.

We are expanding our services and looking for someone who already has hands-on vinyl wrapping experience and wants the opportunity to grow alongside the company. This is a great fit for an installer who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and wants to help build something rather than simply fill another position.

Our goal is to continue growing our wrap division and develop a strong, reliable team capable of producing high-quality work for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Install full and partial vehicle color-change wraps
• Properly prep and clean vehicles before installation
• Wrap bumpers, mirrors, doors, fenders, roofs, trunks, and other complex panels
• Perform appropriate vehicle disassembly and reassembly when necessary
• Trim and finish vinyl cleanly without damaging customer vehicles
• Identify potential installation issues before beginning a job
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Inspect completed work for bubbles, lifting, contamination, exposed edges, or other imperfections
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Communicate with the DB Detail team regarding job progress and any concerns

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with real automotive vinyl wrap experience who can produce professional-quality work.

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous experience wrapping vehicles
• Understands proper vinyl installation, stretching, heating, trimming, and post-heating techniques
• Is comfortable working with complex body panels
• Has strong attention to detail
• Takes responsibility for the quality of their work
• Is reliable and communicates well
• Can work independently when needed
• Understands that quality comes before rushing a vehicle out the door
• Wants an opportunity to grow as our wrap business expands

Experience with brands such as 3M, Avery Dennison, or similar professional automotive films is a plus.

Experience with PPF, window tint, detailing, ceramic coatings, or other automotive restyling services is also a plus, but not required.

Schedule

This position will begin as part-time and project-based, with hours depending on scheduled wrap jobs and customer demand.

As DB Detail LLC continues to grow its wrap division, there may be opportunities for additional hours, increased responsibility, and a larger role within the company.

Why Join DB Detail LLC?

We’re not looking for someone to simply come in, wrap a few cars, and leave. We’re looking for the right person who sees the opportunity to help us develop and grow this side of the business.

If you’re an experienced installer who takes pride in clean work and wants to be part of a growing automotive company, we’d like to hear from you.

To apply, please send us:

• Your name and contact information
• Your previous vinyl wrap experience
• Photos or a portfolio of vehicles you’ve wrapped
• Your current availability
• The vinyl brands you’re most experienced working with
• Your desired hourly or per-project compensation
