Violin Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Violin Teacher to inspire students of all ages in the art of violin playing. This energetic role involves delivering engaging lessons that foster musical growth, technical proficiency, and a love for the arts. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive violin curricula tailored to students’ skill levels and artistic interests
• Conduct individual and group lessons focusing on technique, musicality, sight-reading, and performance skills
• Incorporate elements of choreography, dance instruction, and theater to enhance expressive playing and stage presence
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and focused learning environment
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and competitions by guiding rehearsals and offering constructive feedback
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to track progress and set achievable goals
• Integrate creative arts instruction such as photography, sewing, or ballet when appropriate to enrich students’ artistic development

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching violin performance at various levels, including youth programs and adult education
• Strong background in curriculum development for visual & performing arts disciplines
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles
• Ability to teach related arts such as choreography, dance (ballet/dancing), theater arts, or sewing as part of holistic instruction
• Familiarity with musical instruments maintenance and basic performance techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners of all ages and backgrounds

Pay: $27.00 - $27.50 per hour
