About the Role

At dragon-i, the guest experience begins long before the first drink is poured. As our VIP Host, you are the face, voice, and door-to-floor presence of Hong Kong’s most iconic nightlife destination. You set the tone from the moment our VIPs, regulars, and international guests step past the velvet rope. Whether your background is in high-end hospitality, luxury retail, or concierge services, you bring warmth, poise, and effortless charm to high-energy crowds. Working alongside our Guest Relations team, you will manage guest lists, navigate peak-hour doors with composure, and ensure every guest feels like an insider in our house.

What You Need to Have

* Charisma & Presence: A vibrant personality with a natural ability to connect effortlessly with VIPs, jet-setters, and nightlife regulars.

* Hospitality Background: Relevant experience in luxury hotel concierge, premium guest relations, VIP host operations, or high-end retail.

* Composure & Tact: An ever-positive attitude with calm, confident problem-solving skills under the high-pressure environment of peak club door operations.

* Communication: Exceptional command of English; fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a major advantage.

* Shift Flexibility: Ability to work late-night and weekend operational shifts.

What You Will Do

* Be the Brand Ambassador: Act as the primary, welcoming face at the entrance, establishing immediate rapport with arriving guests.

* Manage Door & VIP Flow: Coordinate seamless guest entry, table checking, and guest-list verification in collaboration with door security and floor managers.

* Forge VIP Connections: Build genuine relationships with key regulars, recognizing preferences and anticipating guest needs with discretion and style.

* Handle Inquiries & Issues: Resolve guest entry or seating queries smoothly at the door with tact, confidence, and charm.

* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with floor servers, bartenders, and management to communicate incoming VIP arrivals and table allocations.
