Below is our basement bar and nightlife space — built around DJs, premium drinks, VIP tables, bottle service and late-night energy.

We’re looking for confident, polished and outgoing VIP Hosts / Bottle Service & Floor Staff to join the opening team.

The Role

This is a part-time position of approximately 24 hours per week, working across Wednesday to Sunday nights.

You’ll be part of the guest-facing team across both the floor and VIP tables, including:

• Welcoming guests and looking after VIP tables throughout the night
• Taking orders, mixing and serving drinks, and delivering bottle service
• Presenting Champagne, spirits and premium beverages professionally
• Recommending and upselling bottles, cocktails and other premium products
• Maintaining VIP tables and keeping the floor clean, organised and presentation-ready
• Assisting with guest arrivals, table allocations and guest lists where required
• Working closely with bartenders, management, hosts and security
• Reading the room, anticipating guest needs and helping maintain the energy of the venue

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll suit this role if you’re naturally social, confident and comfortable working in a busy nightlife environment.

Ideally, you:

• Have hospitality, nightlife, bar or premium service experience
• Are confident mixing and serving drinks
• Are comfortable engaging with guests and larger groups
• Have strong presentation and communication skills
• Can recommend and upsell naturally without being pushy
• Stay composed during busy late-night services
• Are reliable and available across Wednesday–Sunday nights
• Hold a current NSW RSA

Previous experience in VIP hosting, bottle service, bartending, nightclubs or premium bars will be highly regarded.

The Offer

• Part-time — approximately 24 hours per week

• Opportunity to join the opening team of a new Surry Hills nightlife venue
• Ongoing training and development within House of Bungalow
