Role Snapshot

Join us on-site in Boise, Idaho as a VDC BIM Coordination Designer. Your day starts with refining a multidiscipline Revit model, continues with a stand-up review alongside architects, structural engineers, and MEP partners, and moves into Navisworks clash detection to resolve issues before they hit the field. You’ll translate designs into clean construction documents and shop drawings, uphold project standards and codes, and keep our digital deliverables organized and current.

What You’ll Do

  • Own accurate, coordinated 3D BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP scopes.
  • Partner closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to drive design alignment.
  • Run clash detection and facilitate resolution to eliminate field conflicts.
  • Produce construction documentation and shop drawings derived from BIM models.
  • Apply and maintain project standards, applicable codes, and best practices.
  • Manage model health, version control, and BIM databases throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support design development through construction and renovation phases.
  • Provide BIM technical support and informal training to teammates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in a BIM Designer or comparable modeling/coordinator role.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Dynamo (or similar).
  • Solid understanding of building systems and construction workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Detail orientation with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written, to effectively perform job responsibilities.

Preferred Extras

  • Experience with BIM collaboration platforms such as BIM 360 or Navisworks Manage.
  • Ability to automate via Dynamo or Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Per diem: $175 per day.
  • A supportive, growth-focused team environment.
  • Contribute to projects at the forefront of semiconductor construction innovation.
