Virtual Medical Assistant

Position: Medical History Specialist

Job overview: Our office in Monterrey provides remote service to several Medical Offices in the United States. We're looking for professionals in health-related areas to perform the role of Medical Health Specialist, which provides remote medical, administrative and documentation assistance for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Request, review and update electronic medical records (ER visits-hospitalization, immunization records)
• Complete medical forms: prescriptions, referrals, medical equipment requests
• Schedule medical appointments
• Notify patients about lab results and/or imaging studies

Skills, abilities and knowledge:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (Medicine, Nursing) required
• Medical terminology knowledge required
• Good judgement, organizational ability, attention to detail and the ability to be self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-stress and fast-moving environment.
• Excellent computer and phone skills.
• Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.
• Basic Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Additional information:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm OR Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm according to daylight savings
• Location: Monterrey, N.L, Mexico. Eligible candidates must reside in the Monterrey Metropolitan Area

Sueldo: $20,000.00 al mes
