Virtual Psychotherapy Practitioner

About us:

Balanced Mind Therapy is a group practice providing telehealth psychotherapy for mental health and substance use. The practice’s mission is to provide high level care while also eliminating high costs for psychotherapy to those seeking to utilize their insurance benefits.

We handle credentialing, marketing, advertising, referrals, insurance verification, billing and scheduling with new clients.

This is a great opportunity to join a start-up clinical team and build a solid base in the private practice world. Clinicians can make their own flexible schedules virtually and pay rates are reflected by the amount of consistent patients you see on a weekly basis and your experience.

You will be responsible for the treatment and clinical notes. This role is perfect for clinicians who want to avoid all the overhead of a private practice and just focus on client care and notes.

This is an independent contractor position and you will be paid a 1099. Payments will be every two weeks.

About you:

• Have either LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/PHD/MHC-LP/LAC
• Have experience conducting individual, family and/or couples psychotherapy.
• Have experience working with racially and ethnically diverse populations. Strong knowledge of LGBTQ/Cultural/Racism issues.
• Have the ability to thoroughly assess and manage crisis situations and utilize various modalities of treatment including but not limited to CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, humanistic approach’s, motivational interviewing, family systems, emotionally focused couples therapy, client-centered and/or EMDR. Post masters training is a major plus.
• Have the ability to be introspective, inquisitive and open to learning and collaborating with others. A team player with a passion for the field and for helping others.
• Have a compassionate and caring demeanor and are able to build rapport with clients
• Have ability to communicate all clinical issues and concerns to your personal supervisor.
• Have the time for a caseload of 20-35 patients per week
• Have ability to document intakes, progress notes, termination notes and any associated paperwork, which is due 24 hours after each appointment time. The practice uses Theranest for all clinician notes and will be reviewed monthly by the Director to verify completion.

Benefits:

• No shows/cancelations within 12 hours will be compensated full rate
• Provide up to $500 for approved trainings to clinicians with a caseload of 30 or more or $250 for 29 or less and have been employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• Supervision is provided and will be paid for the meeting
• Offer additional clinical support with clinical case conferences, professional development book clubs, and staff meetups.
• Bonus at the end of the year

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
