We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused VR Sales Operator to help deliver outstanding service to our guests.

In this role, you’ll engage directly with customers, operate our VR equipment, drive sales through great interaction and ensure every visitor has an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest.
• Drive sales through engaging and confident customer interaction.
• Identify sales opportunities and upsell products, promotions and experiences while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
• Operate VR equipment safely and effectively.
• Set up, clean and maintain VR pods and equipment to a high standard.
• Assist with day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Support the team in keeping the site tidy, organised and welcoming.
• Follow company procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing attitude.
• Confidence in speaking to customers and promoting experiences.
• A positive approach to sales and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue.
• A team player with a positive approach to work.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Weekend availability is essential, with flexibility during school holidays and other peak periods.
• PC and VR technical knowledge or experience would be beneficial, particularly an understanding of basic troubleshooting, hardware and VR systems, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over, as the role involves operating and supporting VR experiences with 18+ age ratings.

Job Details

• Job type: Part-time, zero-hours contract.
• Hours: This is a zero-hours role, so weekly hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on business requirements. Typical working hours may range from 6–24 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available during school holidays and other peak periods.
• Pay: £12.71 per hour, adjusted where applicable to meet the current National Minimum Wage rate for the successful applicant’s age.
• Location: Immotion VR, Xscape, Castleford, WF10 4TA.
• Work location: In person.
