Virtualization Engineer | OpenStack | Philadelphia, USA

We are currently looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join a high-performing technology team in the Philadelphia area.

This is a great opportunity for an infrastructure engineer who enjoys working with Linux, virtualization and large-scale platforms, and wants to work on a major OpenStack environment.

What you’ll be working with:

• OpenStack & KVM virtualization
• Linux infrastructure
• Python / Bash automation
• High-performance networking
• SAN / storage infrastructure
• Infrastructure performance, reliability and capacity
• Building and improving large-scale virtualization platforms

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Linux infrastructure experience
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack, KVM or similar virtualization technologies
• Experience with Python, Bash or other scripting/automation
• Good understanding of networking and storage
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments
• Comfortable working with large-scale systems

Experience with Ceph, OpenShift, Ansible, VMware or Red Hat would also be highly relevant.
