Visa Counsellor

Role & responsibilities

• Assess students academic background, career goals, and study preferences to provide suitable overseas education options.
• Evaluate student profiles and determine eligibility for programs in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Germany.
• Provide detailed guidance on universities, courses, admission requirements, and application timelines.
• Assist students with university application forms and ensure all required documents are submitted accurately.
• Guide students through the entire admission process, including documentation, statement of purpose preparation, and interview preparation.
• Provide support with visa requirements, financial documentation, and pre-departure guidance.
• Stay updated with international education trends, visa policies, and university admission requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in educational counselling, preferably in overseas education.
• Experience working with international student admissions, either with universities, study abroad agencies, or as an independent consultant.
• Strong knowledge of the education systems, application procedures, visa requirements, and cultural aspects of major study destinations such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
• Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide students and parents effectively through the study abroad process.
