Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) teams are focused on helping key clients, including global banks, retailers and other merchants, as well as local FinTech's and governments. VCA supports clients from strategy through to execution. While VCA Core Consultants focus on solving complex business problems and identifying opportunities, Visa Implementation Services (VIS) focuses on turning recommendations into action. VIS specialists work alongside clients to support the implementation and delivery of solutions, combining payments expertise, project management and hands-on execution.

VCA engages clients throughout Europe and is organised in teams within UK & Ireland, South Europe, Nordics & Baltics, Central Eastern Europe, and Central Europe. 

Day to day responsibilities:

• Support the VIS team in the implementation and delivery of client projects across various domains, including payments, digital and products.

• Support project planning, coordination and execution, helping ensure activities and deliverables move forward effectively.

• Assist in detailed data gathering and analysis to obtain valuable insights that support project delivery and implementation.

• Perform data and trend analyses using Visa’s data tools.

• Support client workshops, stakeholder meetings and other implementation activities, including the preparation of materials and follow-up actions.

• Support the development and maintenance of VIS service sales and delivery collateral

Visa’s Summer Intern Programme

Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees. Throughout the internship you will work on BAU work within your team, be given an end-to-end project to complete and take part in a variety of trainings to increase your learning. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a global social impact case challenge as well as hearing from senior leaders through our Visa Executive Speaker Series. The internship is just the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting career at Visa! If you are successful throughout your internship, you could even secure a graduate role with us when you finish university. 

Our 2 Summer Intern cohort dates are: 

• Tuesday 15th June to Friday 27th August

• Tuesday 6th July to Friday 17th September

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• Being in your penultimate year of university, including any further master's degrees or courses. Meaning your education will be complete in 2028
• Full, permanent, right to work in Switzerland. Visa will not provide sponsorship for this role.
• Professional fluency in English and German
• Interest in technology and the payments industry
• Curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills, driving insight from data analysis.
• Proactive attitude with experience of being a self-starter, a willingness to learn and to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate.
