Duration: 12-Month Contract (With the possibility of extension)

Job Overview

A global healthcare company is seeking a Vision Science Research Assistant to support vision science and ophthalmic device research activities. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Vision Science, or a related field who are interested in clinical research and medical device development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with vision testing and research activities involving human study participants
• Collect, enter, and maintain research data with accuracy
• Schedule participant visits and coordinate study activities
• Maintain study documentation and research records
• Support validation and verification activities for ophthalmic devices
• Assist with laboratory organization and daily research operations
• Collaborate with scientists and research team members on ongoing projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Biology, Vision Science, Biomedical Sciences, or related field
• Internship, laboratory, research, or clinical experience preferred
• Exposure to clinical research, medical devices, ophthalmology, or vision care
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with human subjects or clinical studies
• Ophthalmology, optometry, or vision science exposure
• Familiarity with laboratory environments and research documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
