Vision Solution Engineer | Automation | North

Location: North
Working days: 5 days/week Working hours: 830am - 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and maintain various vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and more.
• Make decisions on the selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision-related components such as PCs, cameras, and lighting based on application requirements.
• Configure vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces, to achieve optimal system performance.
• Possess hands-on experience with vision software libraries/frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications, as well as prepare technical documentation and conduct training.
• Explore new vision technologies and implement them in relevant projects.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, preferably in an industrial or automation environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in vision applications.

• Knowledge of vision and optical inspection systems is preferred.

• Experience in programming languages related to vision applications, such as C++, C#, or Python.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.

• Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is an added advantage.

• Willingness and ability to travel overseas.
