Vision Solutions Engineer (North area / Automation)

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain machine vision applications for measurement, defect inspection, and component verification.
• Design and implement vision solutions based on project and application requirements.
• Evaluate, select, procure, install, and maintain vision-related hardware, including industrial PCs, cameras, and lighting systems.
• Configure and optimize vision systems comprising host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and communication interfaces.
• Utilize vision software platforms and libraries such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro to develop inspection solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field service engineers and customers.
• Establish and validate vision system performance specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Research emerging vision technologies and incorporate suitable solutions into engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in machine vision or vision application development.
• Knowledge of vision inspection and optical inspection systems.
• Experience in programming languages such as C++, C#, and/or Python.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and industrial camera interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with machine vision software libraries or frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
• Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel for project implementation and customer support activities.
