IMMEDIATE OPENING - VISION THERAPY ASSISTANT - WILL TRAIN

As a Vision Therapy Assistant, you will be in one of the most interesting and rewarding specialties in eye care. Work one on one with children and adults, helping them overcome vision problems that interfere with reading, learning, and other daily activities.

We have a few openings – both part time. They are both very rewarding career opportunities. Certification as a vision therapist is available.

Part time, 10-15 hours per week, must include: Tues 2:30 – 6:15 pm and Sat 8:00 – 1:30 pm. Additional hours can be during other times the office is open which includes: Mon 2:30 – 6:15 pm, Wed 11:00 – 7:00 pm, and Friday 2:30 – 6:15 pm

The ideal candidates are those who have a significant interest in and enjoy working with children.

Qualifications:

In addition to working with patients, part of the job may include some filing, inventory, typing the doctors’ reports, so applicant needs to be a fast and accurate typist with excellent attention to detail.

The ideal applicant also needs to be a bright, energetic individual, fast learner, self-directed, well-organized and have good communication skills. This person will want to commit to an opportunity that offers tremendous job satisfaction - helping people to succeed when nothing else could! Experience working with children, is a plus but not required.
