The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University welcomes applications for a visiting teaching position at the rank of either Assistant Teaching Professor (for those with a PhD) or Instructor for Spring 2027, with the possibility of continuing into the next academic year. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The primary duties are to teach foundational courses in mathematics and/or statistics. Teaching upper-level courses is also possible.

Our department currently has 45 full-time faculty members and is known for its collegiality. Our faculty are engaged and supportive, and strive to foster academic excellence. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach 12 credit hours (three or four courses) per semester in person.
• Participate in the life of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Strong teaching ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Exceptional teaching ability.
