Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support clients with meal preparation to promote proper nutrition and hydration
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Manage behavioral challenges and provide emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and responsibly
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly

Experience

• Prior assisted living or home care experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and patient-centered caregiving techniques
• Experience working in nursing homes or similar healthcare settings is advantageous
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties

Pay: £12.72-£12.83 per hour
