Job Summary:
As a Visual Associate at Cider, you will support the execution of our visual merchandising standards and help bring the Cider brand experience to life in-store. Working closely with the Visual Merchandiser and store leadership team, you will assist with product presentation, styling, merchandising updates, and daily maintenance of the sales floor.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in fashion and visual merchandising who enjoys hands-on work, understands current trends, and wants to grow their visual merchandising experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Description:

Brand Experience & Visual Execution

• Support the execution of Cider's visual merchandising guidelines, seasonal updates, and brand standards throughout the store
• Assist with product placement, outfitting, styling, mannequins, fixtures, displays, and other visual merchandising updates
• Maintain an engaging, organized, and visually consistent sales floor throughout the day
• Help execute floor moves, product launches, promotional changes, and visual updates under the direction of the Visual Merchandiser or store leadership
• Stay current on Cider products, collections, fashion trends, and styling direction to support relevant and inspiring product presentation
• Support customers with styling suggestions, product recommendations, and product knowledge when needed

Visual & Store Operations

• Support daily visual maintenance, including recovery, replenishment, sizing, folding, hanging, and product organization
• Assist with shipment processing, new product placement, restocking, and movement of merchandise between the sales floor and back of house
• Identify visual opportunities such as low stock, misplaced products, incomplete displays, or presentation issues and communicate them to the Visual Merchandiser or store leadership
• Support accurate execution of signage, promotional materials, pricing, and other in-store visual communication
• Use store technology and company tools as needed to support product availability and a seamless customer experience
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales floor, fitting room, display, and back-of-house areas
• Follow company procedures related to inventory accuracy, product handling, safety, and loss prevention

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with the Visual Merchandiser, Store Manager, and store team to complete visual priorities and daily business needs
• Participate in daily meetings and stay informed on visual updates, new products, promotions, and store priorities
• Communicate product, customer, and visual feedback to the Visual Merchandiser and store leadership
• Collaborate with sales and operations team members during floor moves, shipment processing, replenishment, and visual projects
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
• Take initiative to learn Cider's visual standards and develop visual merchandising and styling skills

Job Requirements

• Previous retail, fashion, styling, or visual merchandising experience preferred, but not required
• Strong interest in fashion, styling, visual merchandising, and current trends
• Good eye for product presentation, color, styling, and visual details
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow visual direction and execute company standards consistently
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform physical retail tasks, including standing for extended periods and moving, lifting, or arranging merchandise and fixtures as needed
