Visual Design Intern

Vecmocon is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Visual Design Intern for a 4-6 months tenure, whose primary focus will be designing product decals and hardware graphics. While our design team works across both hardware and digital platforms, this role anchors heavily on the physical product experience, supplemented by secondary work in digital UI graphics.

What You Will Do

• Design Hardware Decals (Primary Focus): Take the lead on creating high-quality decals, safety labels, and branding graphics for our physical EV hardware products using Adobe Illustrator.
• 3D Visualization: Utilize Blender to map, visualize, and render your decal designs onto 3D hardware models, ensuring perfect placement and aesthetic alignment before physical production.
• Enhance UI Interfaces (Secondary Focus): Contribute to our mobile and desktop apps by creating visually compelling graphic assets, motion design, and interactions that elevate the digital user experience.
• Problem Solve: Apply strong creative thinking and analytical skills to tackle hardware and software design challenges, adapting quickly to changing engineering and marketing demands.
• Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders to build and refine visual brand excellence across both physical components and digital touchpoints.
• Learn and Grow: Stay self-motivated and excited to learn new skills, such as AI image generation, advanced illustration, and UI/UX principles, to enhance your work.
• Take Ownership: Manage projects from initial concept to final completion within established timelines, requiring minimal supervision.

Mandatory Qualifications

• A strong portfolio featuring exceptional communication design projects, illustrations, motion designs, attention to detail, and a flair for creative projects.
• Proficient in using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and any other relevant apps.
