Visual Design Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Visual Design Lead to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will shape the visual direction of digital experiences, bringing together design systems, motion, and product storytelling to elevate the customer experience. You will partner closely with UX, engineering, and leadership to define a polished, consistent look and feel across digital products. The position calls for someone who can guide high-quality execution while contributing constructive feedback and helping teams translate ideas into compelling, on-brand designs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and designers to define the look and feel of digital experiences
• Create and guide visual and motion design standards for digital product design
• Problem-solve with UX designers to deliver high-quality, on-brand digital experiences
• Lead the development of exemplary visual design work
• Enhance presentation and prototyping through visual and motion execution
• Guide engineering teams in achieving high-standard visual design execution
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UI/UX design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong visual design skills with experience in complex digital design languages
• Portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design for digital products
• 6+ years of experience in visual UI/UX design for complex digital products
• 6+ years of experience working in collaborative creative teams, either on the product side or in consultancy
• Positive attitude that inspires others and provides actionable feedback
