视觉设计师 Visual Designer

We are currently seeking a highly talented and experienced Visual Designer to join our dynamic team in Shanghai.

As a Visual Designer, you'll channel your creative expertise to solve challenging problems. You'll help define and implement Tesla's design language, supporting our visual identity across various mediums.

The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, has strong graphic and digital design experience, and is comfortable creating across static, motion, and brand applications when needed.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Craft brand communications on a global scale, transcending cultural and language barriers.
• Steer the design process from framing challenges, through research and insights, to concept realization and implementation.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality and attention to detail across various projects, managing multiple parallel-path initiatives.
• Articulate and present your design propositions to senior creatives and stakeholders, showcasing the rationale and benefits of your solutions.
• Work closely with a team of multidisciplinary creatives (designers, photographers, cinematographers, editors, writers) to execute content strategies that align with Tesla's brand and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, continually looking for ways to improve and elevate Tesla's visual content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in visual/ graphic design at an agency, in-house design team (ideally in tech, or automotive).
• Proficiency with key design software, primarily Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Blender.
• Experience in 3D Design, modeling, visualization, or motion design is a big plus.
• An insatiable curiosity about the evolving landscape of art direction, coupled with a keen interest in emerging tools, technologies, and trends.
• A flexible mindset and the eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to decipher briefs and seek clarification when needed.
• Organizational prowess in managing multiple projects, and a collaborative spirit to thrive in team settings.
• Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills.
• Open and collaborative communication skills.
