Visual Designer (Part-Time)

Gray Malin is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Design Intern to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role over time.

This position will work closely with our Art Director to support a wide range of creative projects across digital marketing, e-commerce, branding, and packaging. We're looking for someone with a strong design foundation, exceptional taste, and a passion for creating visually compelling brand experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and production of email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, flow emails, and seasonal launches
• Create and update website assets, including homepage features, landing pages, banners, and promotional graphics
• Design digital marketing assets for organic or paid social media as needed
• Support packaging design and branded collateral projects
• Retouch, edit, and prepare photography assets in Photoshop
• Composite Gray Malin artwork into lifestyle and interior room imagery with a polished, realistic, and on-brand aesthetic
• Prepare files and creative assets for web, email, social media, and print production
• Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
• Research and present inspiration related to design, branding, interiors, travel, and lifestyle trends
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and broader marketing team on fast-moving creative initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in typography, composition, branding, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• InDesign experience is a plus
• Exceptional eye for color, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Chic, elevated design sensibility with an appreciation for both editorial and playful aesthetics
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn

Nice to have

• Passion for branding, interiors, home décor, travel, and lifestyle design
• Strong awareness of current design, digital, and cultural trends
