What they need
Looking to start or develop your career in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals?
We’re working with a busy and growing manufacturing company that’s looking for Manufacturing Technicians to join their Visual Inspection and Packaging team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to gain valuable experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Previous experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided. They will consider college and school level leavers.
If you’re reliable, detail‑focused, and keen to be part of a supportive team, this could be a great first step into manufacturing or life sciences.
Due to location, having access to your own transport or living close by is preferred.
What you’ll be doing
- Following clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Carrying out visual checks on finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Preparing materials for packaging and labelling
- Packaging and labelling finished products accurately
- Taking samples when required
- Helping keep the work area clean, tidy and well organised
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a similar GMP environment and/or a relevant scientific degree would be beneficial
- School and college leavers looking to start their career would also be considered providing you have qualifications in STEM subjects
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a busy and repetitive environment
- A team player who takes pride in their work
- Reliable and able to work to set timelines
Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience is beneficial, but not essential. This role would suit life science graduates keen to start their career in the industry.
Why apply?
You’ll receive training, gain practical experience, and be part of a friendly team where your contribution is valued. It’s a great opportunity to build skills and open the door to longer‑term career progression in manufacturing.
